Shared Line Accounts
A Canada WeatherLine subscription is normally linked to one phone number. A Shared Line Account groups several phone numbers under a single bill so an organization with multiple shared phones can subscribe once and have everyone covered.

Who It's For
Anywhere a single physical phone, switchboard, or PBX is shared by a number of people:
- Farms and shared rural lines where one phone serves several households
- Small offices and reception desks where staff share a main number
- Group homes, lodges, fire halls, and community buildings
- Any organization where it's cleaner to handle billing centrally and skip per-phone subscriptions
How It Works
Multiple phones, one account
You list every phone number on the account. Each one has its own caller-side experience (its own name, default location, and chosen voice) but shares the same billing.
One bill, one payment
A single annual payment covers all member phones. We send the receipt to your billing contact, with the mailing address you specify.
Pooled daily call quota
Each account has a daily call quota that's shared across all member phones. Resets at local midnight in your account's time zone.
Status cascades
When the account is active, every member phone is active. When you renew, every member phone renews at once. There's nothing to chase phone-by-phone.
What Each Caller Hears
Every member phone gets the full Canada WeatherLine experience:
- Local weather forecast from Environment Canada (current conditions, hourly short-term, 7-day extended)
- 7-day Sun and Moon forecast (sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset, phase, illumination, next full moon)
- Sky and Space submenu (northern lights, sky events, Space Station pass-overs, rocket launches)
- Per-phone account self-service: change default location, change voice, leave feedback
